Owners - Brian & Erricka Jones
Brian & Erricka were married in June 2003. They have five children (three grown boys, and two little girls), two hyper dogs, and a fat cat. They currently reside in Avon, IN.
Brian has been collecting music for as long as he can remember. He has grown his collection to include over 100,000 songs. He is well organized, and loves to keep the party going. His knowledge of music will amaze you.
With his father spending 20 years in the Army, Brian's family moved around alot while he was young. He has lived in several different countries and states. He took the route of public service becoming an EMT over 20 years ago. Brian currently works full-time as a Paramedic at Westview Hospital and Midwest Ambulance. With his life-saving career, Brian does only DJ once in awhile. (See bios on our other two DJs below.)
Erricka grew up around photography, as her former step-father, Gene Gardei, is a well-known photographer in Western New York. She spent many hours in their home studio, watching and learning Gene's techniques for capturing great images. Erricka's mother gave her a 110-film camera when she was just five years old. Since then, no one knows Erricka without her camera! After graduating high school, Erricka became an EMT. Once Brian and Erricka had children, she found it very difficult to work the long hours required for EMS. Her love for animals pointed her to a job Veterinary Medicine. Erricka currently works part-time as a Veterinary Receptionist at the Animal Hospital of Avon in Avon, IN.
The idea for Muzik & Memories began in 2006 while Erricka was a stay-at-home mom, and friends asked for her to photograph their wedding. Brian wanted to put his love for music to work and help Erricka in sharing her art. They began buying equipment, and Muzik & Memories was born.
Brian & Erricka enjoy the outdoors, and plan to move to the Smoky Mountains (Eastern Tennessee) in the near future. They fell in love with the mountains in 2002 when they first vacationed there together. They enjoy horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and hiking.
